Persada johor vaccine - Vaccine recipients hail convenience, facilities at Persada Centre

Southern Volunteers was established last year to lead volunteer activities, especially those involving Johor youths.

The Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force CITF had, in a recent statement, said that the second round of administering the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine would be held from June 7 to July 27 at PPVs located in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor and Sarawak.

Meanwhile, Dr Adnan said a total of 1,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine jab would be provided at the Persada PPV for three days from June 7-9, while about 3,000 doses would be available from June 10-July 27.

Retiree Yaakob Wagiman, 61, said he was grateful for the assistance being provided by the volunteers when he arrived for his vaccination.

Meanwhile, Onn Hafiz said the Tunku Mahkota of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim had donated 100 wheelchairs to be distributed to all PPVs in Johor in which 10 of them were specially for Persada Johor PPV which is expected to receive 133,000 vaccine recipients.

Under Phase 3 of the NRP, vaccination drives will open up to those aged 18 and above.

Most of these come into force starting 26 April.
