Later, Yuki and Kyon decide to take another bath and end up spotting each other through the matchmaking bath.

It's okay if they wanted his personality to reflect better the more lighthearted tone the show was going for but his pessimistic outlook is as much of a signature of the franchise as is the yellow ribbons as much of a trademark style of Haruhi.

It aired for sixteen episodes, covering the first five volumes of the manga.

Later, Yuki and Kyon go to a nearby observatory for some stargazing while Ryoko and Haruhi tail them, admitting that she feels lonely as Yuki gets closer to Kyon.

It's a huge juxtaposition from who she was and one I couldn't buy into.
