Maya nizhal - Nizhal Movie Review: A thriller that will keep you guessing
The courtroom scenes are quite humorous with a sly satirical dig or two here and there! Kunchako Boban gives an effortless performance as John Baby, a magistrate who struggles with his traumatic phase.
On paper the story sounds simple but as a film I found the film to be very engaging.
Later, during a conversation with his clinical psychologist friend Shalini Divya Prabha , he learns about a little boy named Nitin Izin who narrates strange murder stories.
The mask, the rains, the atrociously loud background score - all of it feels gimmicky as hell.

He also confesses that he was the one who had committed the murders in the name of the political party in which he was working, and used to confess to Sharmila's mother while she cradled her baby to sleep, thus transmitting the stories to Sharmila's subconscious mind.
