After getting to preview the game last month, EA Sports has allowed us to talk about different aspects of the game at different times.



FUT heroes and social gaming Another headlining feature for the mode this year is the addition of FUT Heroes to FIFA 22.











One of the biggest changes with Division Rivals is it is now a seasonal competition tied to the overall FUT season, each of which lasts around six weeks.

Rewards are now offered more frequently, at the end of each week and following the conclusion of a season.

These can also be used in-game, making for a useful asset in your FUT squad.



For the more competitive players, the new Elite Division has also been introduced that has its own progression system and rewards to earn.



You progress through a limited number of games on your own time, earning points towards Champions ranks and rewards.

Division Rivals is also used to earn qualification into the ultra hardcore FUT Champions competitive event - aka the Weekend League.

Translation - this hasn't evolved it's regressed back to the old super toxic style of the earlier FIFA games, the first stage of the competition is qualifying for the weekend league through toxic sweatfests and then you're allowed to play in the weekend league.
