Former Radford athlete Nick Mayhugh wins gold in 100 meters at Paralympics
 Having teammates from different countries at Radford helped Mayhugh adjust to going to another country.
He sought only a fair shot by going about his business as though everything was normal.
For the second time in four games, Mayhugh found the back of the net twice in a 3-1 win to wrap up friendly play.
Cerebral Palsy Though having a disability, Nick Mayhugh has overcome it.
He felt gratitude for those who stood by him and encouraged him.
Mayhugh emailed head coach Stuart Sharp regarding a tryout.
