Yakiniku Yokocho is a perfect combination of great food, popular Japanese drinks, affordable prices and bustling alleyway atmosphere that is unique to the Japanese night life culture. It is Yakiniku Yokocho’s mission to recreate and offer the same friendly, energetic and dynamic essence found in Japan’s laneways at Regent Place
The term yakiniku is derived from the Japanese term yaki, which means grilled, and niku, which means meat, or beef.It is a term that is used broadly to describe various grilled and cooked meats, including American outdoor BBQ-style meats and Korean-style barbecue, which is meat that is often marinated and cooked on a tabletop, open-flame grill.
A great, old school Korean restaurant. The food is high quality and the service is friendly and great too! Lately, I've been getting the Bi Bim Bap, either the hot stone pot one or the regular one. Both are excellent and has a great taste to it. The marinated veggies are soft and crunchy.
The concept is the latest idea from Yakiniku Like, which opened its first branch in 2018. Like sukiyaki, yakiniku is something that’s predominantly eaten as a group in Japan, but Yakiniku Like wants to make it something accessible to solo diners too, so their restaurants have counter seats with individual-sized grills set into them for each.
