I doubled the recipe and added 1 teaspoon of salt to the yeast and sugar mixture.

First, you have to cut the anchovies into small pieces and press them on the surface of the focaccia dough.
Simply stated, a sweetener is just not needed — the yeast, contrary to popular belief, does not need sugar to activate or thrive.
To make the topping for this one, you need to wash some grapes, mix them with some sugar and fennel seeds in a bowl, and then leave them to rest for an hour and finally pour everything on the top of the focaccia.

    Bake focaccia in preheated oven for 10 to 20 minutes, depending on desired crispness. If you like it moist and fluffy, then you'll have to wait just about 10 minutes. If you like it crunchier and darker in the outside, you may have to wait 20 minutes.

    Focaccia came out INCREDIBLE! I don't own a bread machine so I combined everything in my stand mixer and let rise for 1 hour. Next time I will use only 1/4 cup of olive oil, as 1/3 was a bit too much ( I didn't use the whole amount when dressing the dough, but had a sizable amount left over), cooking at 425 for 20 minutes was perfect for me.
